Description:

Part of an automotive Series, in this case work that documents the incorrect hubcaps placed on cars (photographed from everyday society) as a metaphor for our fragile culture and our technological progress.  Intermedia installations utilizing photo and digital technology, visually dealing with the cultural impact of automotive design, specifically the wheel.  This installation is both seen via video media as a passing stream of vehicles, and a variable length of panoramic holographs, mounted horizontally in a space.  Challenge was, in a relatively small space, to illustrate a very large metaphorical statement.  Using video and digital technology, a never-ending stream of images passed through monitors that made the metaphor apparent.
